A fuel injector for internal combustion engines. The fuel injector comprises a nozzle needle which is axially displaceably arranged in a nozzle body and is adapted to be lifted off its conical valve seat in response to fuel pressure. A pin of the nozzle needle extends below the valve seat into a cavity provided in the nozzle body. In the nozzle body, below the cavity, there is provided a blind hole having a diameter smaller than that of the cavity. The pin extends into this blind hole when the fuel injector is closed or slightly opened, providing substantial sealing in a radial direction. At least one spray hole enters the blind hole eccentrically in such a way that a clearance is formed which communicates with the cavity.

The invention relates to the field of engine building.

The disadvantage of this nozzle is that it does not provide in the process of supplying a constant injection pressure and automatically changing the position of the jet of injected fuel-15Va in the entire working range of the engine or in its part.

They are made in the form of flat surfaces located perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle — the nozzle axis is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle, the nozzle axis is at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle, the bottom of the well is parallel to the bottom of the blind hole or the end of the pin; the plane of the bottom of the well is located at an angle to the plane of the bottom of the blind hole or the plane of the pin end; the bottom of the well is made conical in the direction of the blind hole; the end face of the pin has a conical shape, and the bottom of the blind hole is made conical.

The nozzle contains a needle 1 with a sealing cone 2, located on the continuation of the cone pin 3 and sprayer 4 with a cone-shaped sealing surface 5, a cylindrical well b and nozzle 7. At the bottom 8 of the well b, a smaller nozzle 7 is made through the eccentric hole relatively blind hole 9 and connected to the well b through the slot 10. The butt 11 of the pin 3 and the bottom 12 of the blind hole 9. are made in the form of flat surfaces located perpendicular to the nozzle axis. According to other variants, the bottom 8 of the well b is located parallel to the bottom 12 of the blind hole 9 or the end face 11 of the pin 3, the bottom plane 8 of the well 6 is at an angle to the bottom plane 12 of the blind hole 9 or the plane of the end face 11 of the pin 3; the bottom 8 of the well 6 is made conical in the direction of the blind hole 9, the end face 11 of the pin 3 has a tapered shape, and the bottom 12 of the blind hole 9 is made tapered. The axis of the nozzle 7 is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the nozzle or at an angle to it.
The operation of the nozzle is carried out as follows.
When the pressure of the fuel is increased, yoke 1 rises, fuel enters the well 6 of the atomizer 4, and from the nozzle b the nozzle 7 is directed through the slot 10 and then into the combustion chamber of the engine. At the time the needle 1 is raised, the position of the jet of injected fuel automatically changes while the injection pressure is kept constant.
Thus, the nozzle design considered provides improved fuel atomization.
